ECWC12 Comes to Taiwan

The 12th Electronic Circuits World Convention (ECWC), supported by the World Electronic Circuits Council (WECC), makes its debut in Taiwan. ECWC is the well-known international electronics gala held triennially. This year, ECWC12 will take place on November 9-11, 2011 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. ECWC12 has combined the PCB industrial strengths from China, Hong Kong, Europe, America, Japan, Korea, India and Taiwan to bring out the latest technology and business developments in the PCB market after the financial recession.

ECWC12's theme "Creativity, Challenge and Change" highlights the revolution and evolution currently happening in the global electronics industry. Four distinguished speakers, through their talks, will cover the complete spectrum of the electronics industry--from the semiconductor to systems technology. Douglas C.H. Yu, Senior Director of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (TSMC), will give the opening speech, while Shiuh-Kao Chiang, Managing Partner of Prismark, will deliver a speech titled "Global PCB Market and Technology Development Outlook."

Jacklin A. Adams, Chair of Center of Excellence for Product Environmental Compliance at IBM, will discuss the eco-friendly leadership in the electronics supply chain, while Happy T. Holden, CTO of ZD Tech, will talk on the topic of "Supporting Electronic Innovations In The Future: Printed Electronics Opportunities."

In addition, leading PCB companies including Unimicron, COMPEQ, Nan Ya Group and ITEQ will be holding special sessions that will focus on high-speed technology, green manufacturing, advance technology, embedded and stacking and novel laminate materials, to name just a few.
